Social Justice
We believe that faith comes alive through action. Our school is deeply committed to social justice initiatives that reflect compassion, generosity, and service to others.
We focus on helping to improve the wellbeing of those in our local community and beyond, fostering empathy and awareness in our students as they learn the value of giving back.
Our Social Justice Group
Our dedicated Social Justice Group, made up of student volunteers, meets regularly to explore meaningful ways to support those in need. They inspire the whole school community to get involved through creative and engaging fundraising events and service activities.
Making a Difference
Throughout the year, our students actively participate in initiatives such as:
-
Gathering donations for St Vincent de Paul's Winter Appeal and Christmas Hampers.
-
Baking for Fred’s Van, providing food and comfort to people experiencing hardship.
-
Raising funds for Catholic Mission, Caritas and Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
Through these initiatives, our students learn that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
At Our Lady of Hope, we are proud to nurture compassionate, socially aware leaders who live out the values of respect, generosity, and service every day.
